ERMS Award
Congratulations to East Rutherford Middle School for being recognized as the first middle school in the state to reach 100% participation on the North Carolina Teacher Working Conditions Survey.  The school received a $1000 award, sponsored by Duke Energy.

The North Carolina Teacher Working Conditions Survey is an online, anonymous survey that assesses teacher working conditions at the school, district and state levels. Questions focus on time, facilities and resources, community support and involvement, managing student conduct, teacher leadership, school leadership, professional development, instructional practices and support, and new teacher support. Results of the survey have been used to shape educational policy since 2002, when North Carolina was the first state in the nation to ask educators what they thought about their working conditions and what tools and support they need to do their jobs well.

Thank you to the teachers of East Rutherford Middle and throughout Rutherford County Schools for making your voice heard!
