
Rutherford County Schools held its monthly board meeting on June 5th. There were several students from across the county recognized at the meeting for their various accomplishments.
Alexandria Laughter from Cliffside Elementary was honored for her winning entry in the NC Reading Association's Young Authors Contest.
Brynna Glover from Forrest Hunt Elementary was recognized for her 2nd Place award for 2nd graders in the statewide UNC_TV "PBS KIDS GO WRITING" contest.
Several students from Chase High School were recognized for their achievements in the Regional and State HOSA competitions.
