RCS Brand Story

The Rutherford County Schools brand visually incorporates core components of the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan for Rutherford County Schools.

  • Transformation Strategy 1: Engage every student in rigorous, personalized learning focused on college and career success.
  • Transformation Strategy 2: Ensure that a comprehensive, integrated system of support fosters students’ social and emotional health.
  • Transformation Strategy 3: Ensure all students’ equitable access to safe, modern educational facilities and appropriate learning resources.
  • Transformation Strategy 4: Initiate, sustain, and leverage strong external partnerships that support student learning and school success.

As the official keeper of the brand, Rutherford County Schools exercises full and final authority in its use. The brand should be reflected in signage, advertising, direct mail, event promotion, merchandising, and other activities and communications on behalf of the school system. Any use of the brand by an individual or business, including but not limited to for-profit use of the brand on behalf of an individual or business, without the prior written permission of Rutherford County Schools is strictly prohibited.

RCS Brand Colors

Brand colors should be used consistently throughout all media and materials, including but not limited to websites, print advertisements, collateral media, digital media, and printable media. Use of Pantone colors (PMS) ensures consistent color treatment across various printers and renderings. A Pantone swatch book is the most reliable way to identify correct brand colors for vendors. Always proof and verify preliminary renderings prior to production runs to ensure correct color treatment. The color samples appearing below are provided for illustrative purposes only and are NOT guaranteed to match brand colors exactly. They should NOT be used for visual color matching. Using the color specifications appearing below in hexadecimal (HEX), Pantone (PMS), CMYK, and RGB formats will ensure correct color treatment.
