During its meeting last night, the board of education adopted 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school calendars for Rutherford County Schools, Forest City-Dunbar Elementary School, and REaCH. For Rutherford County Schools, a traditional calendar configuration was adopted for 2020-2021 with a balanced calendar configuration adopted for 2021-2022. For Forest City-Dunbar Elementary, a flex calendar was adopted for 2020-2021; Forest City-Dunbar Elementary will follow the Rutherford County Schools balanced calendar for 2021-2022. Rutherford Early College High School calendars for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 have been designed to align holidays and breaks as closely as possible with both Rutherford County Schools and Isothermal Community College.
