What is McKinney-Vento?
Every student deserves a safe, stable, and supportive learning environment. Our school district is committed to supporting students and families who are experiencing housing instability or homelessness. Under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, eligible students have specific rights and protections to help remove barriers to enrollment and school attendance. If your family is temporarily living with others, in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, or other place that is not considered fixed, regular, and adequate housing, please contact our McKinney-Vento Liaison. We are here to help connect your family with available resources and ensure your student has access to the educational opportunities and support they need to succeed.
