What is GEAR UP?
GEAR UP is a grant funded program from Winston-Salem State University. Rutherford County Schools is excited to offer this initiative to its secondary education students. GEAR UP prides itself on creating a "college-going culture" while establishing itself as a positive resource for students to utilize. Current 6th - 9th grade students will benefit from this initiative.
