Q1: Can you direct me to where the question and answers section is on Bid Prime?  I can't find it.  Thanks!
A1: We do not use Bid Prime.  We use the website where we posted the RFP.
 
Q2: Will proposals for alternate brands be accepted for this request?
A2: We are seeking the exact model indicated in the RFP.  
 
Q3: When would the hardware be purchased? When would schools be ready to accept delivery? Or does it need to be a staggered installation, And if so, what does that look like?
A3: By April. Can be staggered based on availability if a: the vendor can only provide a limited amount at a time b: if the installer depending on their staff size would take a while before getting around to all sites. We would rather not have large stock setting at the schools for over 3 weeks. 
 
Q4: What are the installation days and hours available?
A4: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST. There will be exceptions for holidays or if school wide testing is being performed. We will need to work with the installer outside these hours. 
 
Q5: Will the installer need to roll the setups to each location in the school? No breakdown of old equipment? Outside of a power on test, no additional configuration?
A5: Roll to each location in the school if possible. They do not need to remove or break down old equipment. Possibly some classes could be testing; in those cases the school technician or installer could roll them to their respective rooms later. Alongside a power on test they could also set the primary source to be HDMI 1. 
 
Q6: Do you want the installer to record the serial numbers of the devices at each school, and their associated installation/room location once built?
A6: Yes, in excel format if possible so we can import into our asset database. 
 
Q7: Will the installer have access to a dumpster to dispose of trash onsite?
A7: We prefer due to capacity of our dumpster and cardboard bin for the trash and cardboard to be hauled to the local landfill.
